Make a Custom Bootleg Sweatshirt Without Copying a Band

Turn a person or pet into original photo merch with strong hierarchy, readable lettering and intentional cutouts, not a pile of unrelated effects.

Choose one main character

Begin with one strong face photograph and use a second clear photo of that same subject for variety when the selected design calls for repeated cutouts. Keep the dominant portrait large and distinguish a repeated photo from an extra person. Avoid squeezing a family into a solo template.

Use original visual language

Concert-poster energy can come from broad rays, arched lettering, record curves and careful contrast without reproducing a real artist's artwork, logo or licensed character. These templates use original compositions. Only upload photographs and artwork you own or have permission to use.

Let the garment help the graphic

A pale face against Black can work differently from dark olive lettering against Army Green. Review the generated artwork on the actual selected men's or women's color. Do not assume the gallery's suggested color has already selected your purchasable variant.

Keep personal lettering editable

Names, dates and years are added in the final editor, where you can inspect spelling, scale and contrast. Large, short wording is more practical than several lines of tiny filler. The generic template title can remain part of the art, but it is not a substitute for checking personal text.

A face you know. A layer you'll reach for.

Make everyday personal.
