Sign notes
Choose a photo for your pet, car or favorite place
Pet, person and place designs use your reference for identity. Vehicle designs use only broad category and color inspiration for invented simple-stroke artwork, not a replica of a make or model.
Pets and people
Use a sharp eye-level photograph with an unobstructed face. Pet eyes, muzzle, ears and coat markings should be visible. For people, avoid heavy filters and sunglasses. Use up to four JPG, PNG or WebP photos, each at most 10 MB.
Vehicles and buildings
A vehicle photo guides only the general category and color. The artwork uses invented line-and-shape proportions instead of copying a real model, recognizable body shape, grille, lights, badges, decals or plate. For a house, room or landscape, include the features you want recognized; place references retain their identity while details may be simplified.

Text-only signs use the original illustration and your wording. You do not need to invent a person or pet reference to personalize a workshop, coffee corner or room-name sign. Your own finished artwork can also go straight to the print editor.
